# Creating a web link in the web manager

You can create links to pages on the Internet, and then load them in a Session. For example, to share a website with other people.

{% hint style="info" %}
Don't use a web link to create a link to a video on the Internet. For example, to a YouTube page or a video file. For instructions on how to create a link to a video, see [Creating a video link in the web manager](/engage/web-manager/media/creating-a-video-link-in-the-web-manager.md).
{% endhint %}

1. Go to [https://app.engagevr.io/](https://app.engagevr.io), and then log in.
2. From the side menu, select **Media**.
3. On the **Media** page, select **Web Links**.
4. Select **ADD WEB LINK**.
5. In the **Add Web Link** window, enter a **Title** and **URL**.
6. **Optional**: Enter a **Description**.
7. Select **SAVE.**

For instructions on how to access a web link in the ENGAGE app, see [Managing web links](/engage/essential-features/personal-browser/managing-web-links.md#loading-a-website-from-a-web-link).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.engagevr.io/engage/web-manager/media/creating-a-web-link-in-the-web-manager.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
