Meta Quest

Accessing accessibility settings

  1. If the universal menu isn't visible, press the Meta or Oculus button on your right touch controller.

  2. In the universal menu, select Quick settings. This is the time, Wi-Fi and battery indicator.

  3. In the upper-right corner of the Quick settings panel, select Settings.

  4. In the Settings panel, scroll down the left-hand menu, and then select Accessibility.

You can use the same steps to access and change accessibility settings both when you are in the Meta home environment and when are in the ENGAGE application.

Using ENGAGE with a single touch controller

You can access most features of ENGAGE with only the right-hand touch controller. You can access the basic features of ENGAGE with only the left-hand touch controller, but we recommend that you remap some of the buttons.

If you use a left-hand touch controller only, and you find that the remapped menu button is unresponsive, keep the right-hand touch controller close, turned on, and ideally in front of you.

Left controller only
Right controller only

Movement

Left thumbstick to move forwards, backwards, and sideways. Physically turn your body to face a different direction.

Right thumbstick to turn left and right. Teleport to move.

Recommended controls to re-map

Re-map Y (tablet) to B (menu). You can use the menu with one hand but not the tablet. Re-map the menu button to the Meta button, so you can access accessibility and other OS-level settings. See the diagram that follows this table.
