# Animating the ENGAGE LINK map

If you play the experience, you will see the LINK map appear suddenly. You can very easily add an entrance effect so that its appearance is less abrupt.

1. On the timeline, select the cog icon for the *ENGAGE Link map* IFX.
2. In the **Current Effect Options** panel, select **Fade In** to cycle through the fade in options until **Scale** is shown.
3. Select **Save Effect**.
