# The first recording

## Add the first recording

1. Move the play head to approximately 0:35.
2. On the left-hand side of the timeline, select **Recording**.
3. Select your recording for the clown fish.
4. Select **Load**.
5. In the **Load Recording** prompt, select **Load**.
6. Place your recording in the same location where you previously placed the 3D Buttons.
7. If required, rotate the avatar to face the user.

## Add a jump to the recording

1\. On the timeline, select the cog for the **Clown button** container.

2\. On the **Current Effect Options** page, in the **Triggered Effects** section, select **NEW**.

3\. From the available effects, select **IFX**.

4\. From the IFX library select **Skip to Time (Lesson Seek)**.

5\. Place the effect in the environment. Its location is not important.

6\. On the timeline, select the cog for the **Clown button** container.

7\. On the **Current Effect Options**, select the cog for the **Skip to Time** triggered effect.

8\. In the **TIME VALUE** field, type `00:00:35`. This is the start time for the clown fish recording.

9\. Select **SAVE EFFECT**.

Minimize the editor panel and test your experience. If you select the Clown Fish button, you should jump to the recording.
