Keyboard shortcuts

On Windows and macOS computers, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts.

Look around	Hold spacebar / left mouse button + move mouse
Move forwards in the direction that you're facing	W or up arrow key
Move backwards from the direction that you're facing	S or down arrow key
Slide to the left	A or left arrow key
Slide to the right	D or right arrow key
Move faster	Left Shift + movement key
Open and close your menu	Esc
Mute or unmute your microphone	M
Switch between look around and interact modes. An alternative to holding down the spacebar or left mouse button.	Z or middle mouse button
Turn the display of object bubbles on and off.	B
Quick access to create a sticky note	F2 (Windows); Fn + F2 (macOS)
Increase the scale of an IFX when placing or moving it	+ (plus key)
Decrease the scale of an IFX when placing or moving it	- (minus key)
Open the emojis panel	F
Activate the clap gesture	1
Raise your hand	2
Activate an emoji	3 to 8
Toggle visibility of the controls overlay	F1 (Windows only) or C
