Ungrouping a snapshot

The control menu for a snapshot has the same options as other types of object. For more information, see Accessing the control menu. However, the control menu for a snapshot includes an additional option to ungroup the snapshot.

After you load a snapshot, all of the IFX that were saved in that snapshot are grouped together and treated as a single object. To ungroup the snapshot so that you can interact with each IFX as a separate object, complete the following steps:

  1. Access the control menu for the snapshot.

  2. Optional: If you want all of the IFX in the snapshot to be in a shared state after you ungroup them, on the control menu, select SHARE.

  3. On the control menu, select UNGROUP.

After you ungroup a snapshot, you can't group them again.
