# Accessing the control menu

1. Use one of the following methods to activate the object's bubble:
   * On a VR device, point your right controller at the object, and then press the trigger.
   * On a desktop device, adjust your view so that the object at the center of the ENGAGE window, and then left click.
2. Select the **EDIT** icon (<img src="/files/m1uNhuIP0efFNVLzcWim" alt="" data-size="line">) on the right-hand side of the object bubble.

After you select the **EDIT** icon, the control menu appears. When the control menu is open, the **EDIT** icon changes to an **X** icon. Select the **X** icon to close the control menu.
