# Cancelling your PLUS subscription

If we cancel your PLUS subscription, you will immediately lose access to all of your PLUS benefits. If, instead, you want to retain your PLUS benefits until the end of your current billing period, you can turn off auto renewal.

{% hint style="info" %}
It may take up to 72 hours to process changes to your subscription.
{% endhint %}

1. Go to [https://app.engagevr.io/](https://app.engagevr.io), and then log in.
2. Select your name in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select **Settings** from the list that appears.
3. On the **SETTINGS** page, select **Subscription History**.
4. Choose one of the following options in the **ACTIVE SUBSCRIPTION** panel:
   * To cancel your PLUS membership as soon as possible, select **CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION**, and then, in the **Confirm Cancel Subscription** prompt, select **CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION**.
   * To end your PLUS membership at the next billing date, select **TURN OFF AUTO RENEW**, and then, in the **Turn off auto renew** prompt, select **TURN OFF.**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.engagevr.io/engage/managing-your-account/managing-a-plus-subscription/cancelling-your-plus-subscription.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
