# Adding an IFX to seat attendees

To seat all attendees at the start of the presentation, complete the following steps:

1. Move the playhead to start of the timeline (`00:00:00`).
2. From the left-hand side of the editor panel, select **IFX**.
3. In the search field, enter `seat all`, and then select the search icon.
4. From the filtered list of IFX, select **Host Option – Seat All**.
5. Place the IFX in the environment. The position of the IFX isn’t important because it will affect all attendees in the Session.

When the playhead first reaches the IFX on the timeline, it will seat all attendees.

{% hint style="info" %}
To use this IFX, the location must include seating. It doesn’t recognize any IFX seats that you add.
{% endhint %}
