# Choosing a language in the ENGAGE app

You can set a preferred language for your account. After you log in to the web manager or the ENGAGE app, the user interface changes to the language that you have selected. However, because this is applied only after you log in, you may need to set the language of the log-in screen separately.

Use one of the sections below to change your language in the ENGAGE app.

## On the log-in screen

1. Open ENGAGE.
2. On the log-in screen, select the current language in the lower-left corner.
3. From the **Language** list, select your desired language.

The ENGAGE application resets and your chosen language is applied.

After you log in, the language that you set on the log-in screen is overridden by the language set in your profile settings. To update the language set in your profile settings, see the following section.

## On the menu screen

1. Open ENGAGE, and then log in.
2. On the menu screen, select your profile image in the upper-right corner, and then select **Language** from the menu that appears.
3. From the **Language** list, select your desired language.

The ENGAGE application resets and your chosen language is applied.

If you change your language on the menu screen, you update your profile settings. Your selected language is also applied to the web manager the next time that you log in.
