# External URL screens

IFX screens that include External URL in their name will not display a video that you play through shared media. Instead, you enter a URL for a video that will play only on that IFX screen.

You can use external URL video IFX to play multiple videos independently. However, if your experience includes multiple different videos playing at the same time, this will create a poor experience for users on low-powered hardware - such as mobile devices and some stand-alone VR headsets.
