# Updating your profile details in the web manager

Your profile details include your username, the display name that appears above your avatar in the ENGAGE app, the height that's applied to your avatar, and other personal information.

You can update your account details in either the web manager or the ENGAGE app. To use the ENGAGE app, see [Updating your profile details in the ENGAGE app](/engage/managing-your-account/managing-your-profile/updating-your-profile-details-in-the-engage-app.md). To use the web manager, complete the following steps:

1. Go to [https://app.engagevr.io/](https://app.engagevr.io), and then log in.
2. On the menu, select **Profile**.
3. On your profile page, select **EDIT PROFILE**. If you use a phone or tablet and the **EDIT PROFILE** button isn't visible, change your browser settings to use the desktop version of the site.
4. Update your account details as required.
5. Select **UPDATE PROFILE**.
