The following accessibility settings relate specifically to use of the ENGAGE application on a Microsoft Windows 11 Business operating system with a computer monitor. Other versions of Windows may have different settings. Some settings may not be compatible with PC VR.

## Accessing accessibility settings

1. Choose one of the following options:
   * Press the Windows ![](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/style-guide/a-z-word-list-term-collections/s/media/start-button-start-menu/967781121.png) key on your keyboard.
   * On the taskbar, select the Windows Start ![](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/style-guide/a-z-word-list-term-collections/s/media/start-button-start-menu/967781121.png) button.
2. In the Search bar, enter `settings`, and then select **Settings** in the **Best match** section of the search results.
3. From the left-hand menu, select **Accessibility**.

If you turn on Mono audio, the audio from the ENGAGE application will play at equal volume through stereo headphones or speakers.<br><br>Spatialized sounds in ENGAGE will also play in mono audio. This includes other people's voices when 3D voice is turned on. However, spatialized sounds will still become quieter the further you are from the source.</td></tr><tr><td>Captions</td><td>Supported. If you turn live captions on, all speech in the ENGAGE application will be transcribed and presented as captions.</td></tr><tr><td>Speech</td><td>Voice typing is supported. When you select a text input field in the ENGAGE application, you can press <img src="https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/style-guide/a-z-word-list-term-collections/s/media/start-button-start-menu/967781121.png" alt="">+H to open voice typing, and then dictate the text that you want to enter.</td></tr><tr><td>Keyboard</td><td>Supported.<br><br>This includes use of the on-screen keyboard to enter text in ENGAGE and to move your avatar. By default, there is a repeated clicking sound when you hold down WASD or arrow keys to move around, but you can turn the click off in the keyboard's options.</td></tr><tr><td>Mouse</td><td>Use of mouse keys is partially supported. You can use the numeric keypad as an alternative to the mouse in all ENGAGE menus. ## Third-party accessibility tools
