Adding a color fade transition

To create a fade through black, complete the following steps:

  1. Move the playhead to approximately 00:05:34.

  2. Add a Fade to Color IFX to the sequence. Its placement isn’t important because it affects all users simultaneously.

  3. On the timeline, select the cog icon for the Fade to Color IFX.

  4. Select Choose Color, and then choose the color that you want to fade through.

  5. Select Fade In and Fade Out to enable the fade transition.

  6. Select Save Effect.
