Record content
We’ll use a recorded avatar to describe various marine life while they swim past. And so, the first thing that you need to do is to record yourself talking about clown fish and orcas. For the purposes of this tutorial, you only need 30 to 60 seconds for each, and you can simply read from the appropriate Wikipedia page. You can open the webpage in your in-Session web browser.
To create a recording, complete the following steps:
Start a Session in any location of your choice.
Open your menu, and then select Web.
Go to the appropriate webpage from which you will read aloud.
From the row of menu icons, select Record.
On the Record page, select Record.
Choose the option to record yourself, and then select Record.
When the countdown begins, switch back to the web browser.
Read aloud from the webpage.
When you have more than 30 seconds of content, switch back to the Record page, select Recording, and then select Stop.
In the Save Recording prompt, enter a name for your recording, and then select Save.
Name the file and save it to your device.
You can create much more elaborate recordings with multiple people. If you use a VR headset, you can track your movements and hand gestures. You can use screens in the environment, or add a screen IFX, to display prompts. You could also use any of the numerous online teleprompter apps.
