Creating a new location

We recommend that you start with the example scene, remove objects that you don't need, and then add or replace objects as required.

For information about the important elements in the example scene, see Basic requirements for a location.

  1. Open the ENGAGE SDK in the Unity Editor.

  2. In the Project window, browse to the /Assets/ENGAGE_CreatorSDK/Scenes folder.

  3. Double-click the Engage_SampleScene.unity file to open the example scene.

  4. From the File menu, select Save As.

  5. Browse to the /Assets/--Scenes-Bundles-Desktop_And_Android folder, and then create a new folder for your scene.

  6. Save the scene in the folder that you created.

Bundles are built from folders. Create a new folder for each scene to ensure that each location bundle contains only one location. This is the most efficient way to load locations in ENGAGE.
