# Configuring an object as a teleport target

In the ENGAGE app, you can use the teleport function to move quickly through an environment. By default, surfaces in a location are invalid teleport targets, which means that a user can't target them with the teleport function.

To configure a surface, such as a floor, as a teleport target, complete the following steps:

1. If the object does not have a collider component, add one. If possible, use basic colliders such as box, capsule, or sphere. If you use a mesh collider, select the **Convex** check box.
2. In the **Inspector** window, from the **Tag** list, select **TeleportGround**.
