# Editing a subgroup

If you have an owner or administrator role in a parent group, you can edit the information identified as editable in [#details](https://docs.engagevr.io/enterprise/managing-groups/group-page-tabs#details "mention") and [#settings](https://docs.engagevr.io/enterprise/managing-groups/group-page-tabs#settings "mention") for all subgroups. If you have an owner or administrator role only in a subgroup, you can't modify settings in that subgroup.

To edit a subgroup, complete the following steps:

1. Go to <https://app-eap.engagevr.io/>, and then log in.
2. From the menu, select **Groups**.
3. On the **Groups** page, select the **Edit** icon for the subgroup.

As an alternative to the previous steps, you can select the parent group on the **Groups** page, and then select the appropriate **Edit** icon on the **Subgroups** tab.
