Group page tabs
The following sections describe the information that is displayed on each of the tabs when you choose to view a group.
Details
The Details tab displays the following information:
Some settings appear only if they are enabled.
Name
The name of the group. This is visible to group members in the application.
Subgroup only
Description
The description of the group. This is visible to group members in the application
Yes
Parent Group
Appears only in subgroups. The name of the parent group. If the group doesn’t have a parent group, then this field is empty. Groups that have a parent group can’t have their own subgroups.

Trial End Date
If the group is part of a trial agreement, this field displays the end date of that trial.

License Type
The license that you have purchased.

License Agreement End Date
The date on which your current license will expire.

Created By
The name of the person that created the subgroup. Displayed for subgroups only.

Date of group creation.

Last Updated By
The name of the person who made the last update to the group settings.

Date of last update to the group.

Logo
An image file for the group’s logo. The display of the logo is controlled by the Display Group Logo in ENGAGE field. For more information, see Using a logo image.

Settings
The Settings tab displays the value of the following settings:
Some settings appear only if they are enabled.

User accounts
Total Licenses
Appears only in top-level groups. The total number of user accounts that you have purchased for this Enterprise group.

Available
Appears only in top-level groups. How many licensed accounts are available for use. This is calculated by subtracting In Use and Reserved from the Total licenses.

In Use
Appears only in top-level groups. The total number of unique users in the top-level group and any subgroups.

Reserved for new users
Appears only in top-level groups. The number of pending invitations. These subtract from your available licenses until they are declined or cancelled.

Membership Size
Appears only in subgroups.
The maximum number of members that can join the group. The in use count includes both current members and pending invitations.

General
Display Group Logo in ENGAGE
If enabled, your group logo is displayed in several places in the ENGAGE platform. For more information, see Using a logo image.

If the setting is enabled, the group is active: users can set the group as their default group, and then the settings of the group are applied to them.

Display Public Content
If enabled, the group’s members have access to all publicly available content in ENGAGE.

Display Public Sessions & ENGAGE LINK
If enabled, the group’s members have access to all the publicly available sessions and the ENGAGE LINK map. See Managing access to ENGAGE LINK.
Note: If you disable this setting, the default view of the Join Session page in the ENGAGE application is the list of your group’s persistent Sessions.

Connections
Connect all group members by default
In Connections, all group members are automatically connected. For more information, refer to Connections in the public documentation.

Restrict to group members only
In Connections, group members can add only other members of this group as connections. For more information, refer to Connections in the public documentation. Note: This restriction applies only to members who have this group set as their default group. For more information, see Setting your default group.

Sessions
Restrict Sessions to Enterprise only
If enabled, when a member of the group creates a Session, only users with an Enterprise account can join. LITE and PLUS users cannot join.

Restrict Standard Sessions to Group Members Only
If enabled, when a member of the group creates a standard Session, only other members of the group can join.

Allow Invite All
If enabled, an option becomes available on each persistent Session's details page, which a group owner or admin can use to invite all group members to that Session. For more information, see Inviting all group members to a persistent Session.

Allow Persistent Sessions
If enabled, users with an owner role in the group can create persistent Sessions. Users with an administrator role in the group can view information about persistent Sessions. For more information, see Persistent Sessions.

Persistent Sessions Quota
The current and maximum number of persistent Sessions that can be created for the group.

Restrict to Group Members only
If enabled, only members of the group can join the group's persistent Sessions.

Restrict administration to Group Owners only
If enabled, only group owners can create and edit persistent sessions.

Allow Persistent Sessions to be used for standard events
If enabled, when an authorized group member creates an Event, they can associate it with one of the group's persistent Sessions. When users join the Event, they will then join the persistent Session.

Can Create Recordings
If disabled, members of this group cannot create recordings in a Session.

Mandatory Encrypted Sessions
If enabled and a user sets this group as their default group, any Session that user creates uses encrypted data transfer.

Allow Subgroups
If enabled, people with an owner or administrator role can create subgroups of this group.

Allow Scalable Sessions
If enabled, the group has access to a special type of Session that creates new instances on demand. When an instance reaches its maximum capacity, a new instance is created. ENGAGE XR staff perform the initial set-up of Scalable Sessions.

Allow Cloud File Manager
If enabled, all group members have access to the cloud file manager. Access to the cloud file manager is limited for initial rollout to approved beta testers only.

Allow Custom Branded IFX
If enabled, group owners and administrators can upload images that will appear on a selection of branded IFX. For more information, see Custom branded IFX.

Allow Bulk User Upload
If enabled, the group owner can use a bulk import to add group members. For more information, see Bulk import of users.

Allow AI
If enabled, group owners and administrators have access to manage AI characters in the Enterprise Admin Portal.

AI Character Builder
If enabled, group owners and administrators have access to the AI Character Builder in the ENGAGE application.

Allow Public Events
If disabled, group members cannot create Events that are publicly listed.

Allow Public Outfits
If enabled, group members have access to the full library of public outfits in the Avatar Editor. If disabled, group members have access to a curated collection of clothing options - agreed by arrangement with ENGAGE|Studio.

Security
Allow "Remember Me" Override
If enabled, group owners can modify the default settings for the Remember Me feature. For more information, see Remember Me.

Security
The Security tab enables group owners to configure how group members authenticate on the platform. They can choose options for two-factor authentication and single sign-on. For more information, see Group security.
Sessions
The Sessions tab enables group owners to configure special types of Sessions that are available to the group. These are separate to the standard Sessions and Events that are available in the application. Users with an administrator role in the group can view information about configured Sessions. For more information, see Persistent Sessions.
Subgroups
The Subgroups tab lists subgroups of a group. For more information about the actions that you can perform on this tab, see Subgroups.
Memberships
The Memberships tab lists all members of a group. People are added to this list after they accept their invitation to join the group or are added through a bulk import of users. You can view membership details, change a member’s role, or remove a member from the group. However, your ability to perform these actions depends on your role and associated permissions. Invitations
The Invitations tab lists all active invitations that have not been either accepted or rejected. For more information about the actions that you can perform on this tab, see Invitations.
Branding
The Branding tab provides group owners and administrators access to upload branding images for use on custom branded IFX. For more information, see Custom branded IFX.
