# Unlinking a quiz

If you want to prevent the results from a quiz taken in ENGAGE from being sent back to Canvas, you can unlink the quiz.

If you unlink a quiz, you cannot relink it. Instead, you would need to reimport the quiz from Canvas, which would create a new quiz in ENGAGE.

To unlink a quiz, complete the following steps:

1. In EAP, go to the Enterprise group from which you want to unlink a quiz.
2. Select the **Quizzes** tab.
3. On the **Quizzes** tab, select **Manage Quizzes**.
4. For the quiz that you want to unlink, select <img src="/files/trWWNVAytB5RCFV6g0N0" alt="" data-size="line">.
5. In the **Unlink Quiz** confirmation prompt, select **Unlink**.

The icon in the LMS CONNECTION column changes to an X. You can still deliver the quiz in an ENGAGE Session and view the results in EAP. However, no results will be sent to Canvas.
