# LMS integration for quizzes

You can connect your ENGAGE Enterprise group to a Canvas learning management system (LMS), and then link you Canvas quizzes to ENGAGE.

If someone has an account in both your Canvas LMS and your ENGAGE Enterprise group, they can take the quiz in an ENGAGE Session, and then their results will be posted back to Canvas.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Be aware of the following limitations and conditions:

* If you import a New Quiz from Canvas to ENGAGE, the only result returned to the Canvas Gradebook is the final score, i.e. the percentage of marks achieved from correct answers. If you import a Classic Quiz, the user's answer for each question is also returned.
* If you want to use a classic quiz from Canvas in ENGAGE, you must enable the `Users - act as` and `Submit on behalf of student` account role permissions. For more information, see [Using classic Canvas quizzes](/enterprise/enterprise-admin-portal/lms-integration-for-quizzes/using-classic-canvas-quizzes.md).
* You must create a developer key in the Canvas root account for each ENGAGE Enterprise group that you want to connect to Canvas.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.engagevr.io/enterprise/enterprise-admin-portal/lms-integration-for-quizzes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
