Importing a quiz

When you import a quiz from Canvas into ENGAGE, you create a connection to the LMS. When your group members take a quiz in an ENGAGE Session, their results are sent back to the Canvas Gradebook.

However, If you want to make changes to a quiz, you must make the changes in Canvas, and then reimport the quiz into ENGAGE. This will create a new quiz in ENGAGE. You cannot make any changes to a quiz in ENGAGE and any changes that you make to a quiz in Canvas are not applied to a connected quiz in ENGAGE.

If you reimport a quiz, the previously imported quiz is automatically disconnected from Canvas. Any results will still be available in EAP.

To import a quiz from Canvas into ENGAGE, complete the following steps:

1. In EAP, go to the Enterprise group that you want to import a quiz into.

2. Select the Quizzes tab.

3. On the Quizzes tab, select Manage Quizzes.

4. On the Manage Quizzes page, select Import.

5. In the Import LMS Quiz panel, first select the course, and then select the quiz that you want to import.

6. Select Import.
