A quick link simplifies the process of joining a Session. In the Enterprise Admin Portal, each of your persistent Sessions has a quick link that you can share. After someone follows a quick link, they see a prompt to directly join the persistent Session when they log in to the ENGAGE application.
A quick link uses the persistent Session's ID and does not change.
To manually create a quick link, add the session ID to the end of the web manager address (https://app.engagevr.io/). For example, https://app.engagevr.io/abc123. The web manager application will resolve this to a full quick link. For example, https://app.engagevr.io/quicklink/abc123/join.
To copy a quick link, complete the following steps:
Choose one of the following options:
To view persistent Sessions for all groups, select Sessions from the side menu.
To view persistent Sessions for a specific group, go to the group, select the Sessions tab for the group, and then select Persistent Sessions.
In the QUICK LINK column, select the copy icon for the persistent Session that you want people to join. The quick link address is copied to your clipboard.
Share the quick link through email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or any other text-based communication tool.
After someone follows a quick link in their web browser, they will see a prompt in the application that invites them to join the Session. The prompt will disappear after one hour. However, they can follow the quick link again in their web browser to reactivate the prompt.
